@@@Does China support Israeli policy towards Iran and Palestine ?
@@ I saw the news of Israeli Prime Minister Olmert visited China on 10-11 Jan
with much interest. Considering the rumor that Israel might attack Iran and
possible start of Israel-Palestine Peace Talk in early February it is easily
imagined that Israel tries to make China accept, or at least not oppose, Israeli
policy on those issues.
It is a kind of test to find whether China be a
really non-aligned countries who stands on the side of the weak, underdeveloped
countries or a realistic country pursuing her own interest at the cost of the
weak.
It seems to me that top priorities Chinese diplomacy nowadays are
economic growth and controlled Taiwan. In order to achieve these goals China
needs a good relation with US. That is why China has been so cooperative with US
on the North Korean nuclear issue. Now itfs turn of Middle East issues. If China
will show Israel her tacit agreement, if not support, on Israeli policy towards
Iran and Palestine it will be another indication that China will be cooperative
with US to control the world. Let us see how China will handle the issue of Iran
and Palestne.
